Krzywa Wieża to dawna baszta miejska w systemie obronnym murów, jakich w Toruniu było niegdyś aż 54. Pochylona na skutek gliniastego, niestabilnego gruntu - choć legendy mówią zupełnie co innego. Dziś zachowana w ciągu murów miejskich, stanowi bodaj największą osobliwość i atrakcję turystyczną Torunia i jest jego kolejnym symbolem, obfotografowanym przez wszystkich turystów toruńskich.
